A complete experiential classroom learning solution for schools to make visualization easier for complex theoretical concepts.
Mechatronics Lab
The mechatronics lab is conjunction of different core branches of engineering viz. Mechanical, Electronics and Computing. It contains trainer kits for hydraulic and pneumatic with different sensors (Mechanical), programmable logic controls, microcontrollers and PID controllers (Electronics and Computing) to instil skill to students in the field of automation and mechatronics. It also has process control trainer to simulate real time condition of process industries, which can measure variables such as pressure, flow and temperature of the fluid. The lab is equipped with licensed software such as Automation Studio to simulate practical situations and circuits in process and automation industries and LabVIEW to simulate the conditions using different sensors and actuators and by implementing analysing it on practical devices.
Mechatronics Lab for Schools
We here at IHC has come up with an innovative Mechatronics Lab program that will help schools to blend with school’s existing curriculum and encourages teachers to give a demonstration in their regular classroom sessions about the interesting concepts of STEM learning with the help of 70+ Teaching Aids and 20 Do-It-Yourself(DIY) to the students of 11th and 12th grade as well as in universities.
Our program intends to provide knowledge of basic mechatronics elements ,system level integration, control and robotics.. It covers the curriculum of CBSE, ICSE, and all other Indian examination boards.
Mechatronics lab has the vision to encourage young innovators and sow the seeds of passion for STEM education in India with the help of providing a fun learning environment, DIY kits, Practice sheets, assessments, and proper guidance to inspire young minds.
What Mechatronics Lab Consists of?
Mechatronics lab consists of the following things:
Exciting fun STEM learning DIY activities
Innovative Science Teaching Aids

The lab has two modular automation programmable systems or MAPS. MAPS 5 on assembly of two component and MAPS 6 simulating pharmaceutical industry. In addition, MAPS 6 contains a 6 axis robot felicitating the initial stage of process and human machine interface (HMI) to control, monitor and integrate the whole process. These systems give a perspective of factory automation and its working. These systems are also reprogrammable and also used by students for troubleshooting of any modules and components. Both machines contain various actuators (pneumatic and electric) and different sensors for sensing and feedback.
Both MAPS are controlled by Siemens PLC and SIMATIC HMI in case of MAPS 6
Why Mechatronics lab is a Good Choice for you?
Mechanical modeling calls for modeling and simulating physical complex phenomena in the scope of a multi-scale and multi-physical approach. This implies to implement and to manage modeling and optimization methods and tools, which are integrated in a systemic approach. The specialty is aimed for students in mechanics who want to open their mind to systems engineering, and able to integrate different physics or technologies, as well as students in mechatronics who want to increase their knowledge in optimization and multidisciplinary simulation techniques. The speciality educates students in robust and/or optimized conception methods for structures or many technological systems, and to the main modeling and simulation tools used in R&D. Special courses are also proposed for original applications (multi-materials composites, innovating transducers and actuators, integrated systems, …) to prepare the students to the coming breakthrough in the domains covering the materials and the systems. For some mechatronic systems, the main issue is no longer how to implement a control system, but how to implement actuators. Within the mechatronic field, mainly two technologies are used to produce movement/motion.
